Veolia Nuclear Solutions – Federal Services has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager. The individual will be responsible for managing all of the employee functions of the company in accordance with established company policies and practices, ethical and social consciences of business and society, and the laws, regulations and governances of local, state, and federal agencies. Excellent understanding of working within the Department of Energy contracting environment. Ability to be “hands on” in working HR issues in areas of Employee Relations, Union Relations, Benefits, Staffing, Compensation, Compliance, etc. Strong knowledge of Labor relations, Able to prepare information to utilize during the collective bargaining process. Oversee compliance with various unions negotiated contracts. Is responsible to ensure the company is in compliance with all laws, and regulations. Is responsible for the strategic human resources planning function in order to provide company with the best people talent and practices so that we can effectively compete and operate optimally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Education & Certifications:
Degree in Human Resources or other management area and 7+ years of HR experience preferred. Practical experience in Human Resources including management experience can be substituted for degree.
Generalist experiences in managing a range of administrative areas of responsibility including but not limited to: Compensation, talent acquisition, organizational development, strategic planning, payroll administration, employment law, policy administration, training and development, succession planning and benefit administration. Strong knowledge base working within the Department of Energy. Experience working with various collective bargaining units and Labor Relations.
